How did you generate inquiry in the classroom ? 
How far were you successful? 
Have you ever tried to generate inquiry in Math or Language? 
Express your views , opinions and share your experiences. 
 
 
I fully agree with the inquiry based teaching methodology, and I try at all times may it be language, literature and even Math to tune in the students to the subject, to bring in inquiry which will bring in meaning to their learning and relating it with real life experiences. 
 
Shall share with you some experiences on another occasion. 
 
I think you can generate inquiry by good questioning? Shall share some interesting ways to phrase good questions amongst students to generate inquiry. Purti 
 
Thank you teachers Now please share how you generated inquiry because that will help new teachers. 
 
For my theme how we express ourselves I created a special environment in the library by pasting the different types of books on the table . Then i arranged books under their proper headings .the children were taken there and were asked to browse through the books. Children were familiar with fairy tales so their immediate reaction was WOW ! Fairy tales. But they had no clue about the fables, biography,etc., So they started inquiring about those books. In this way their curiosity to know more was aroused. Vandana
